Shop Foreman Primary Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and coordinate the flow of equipment into and within the shop.
  • Guide repair personnel to maximize efficiency.
  • Act under direction of the shop manager
  • Make well-informed decisions regarding equipment repair.
  • Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

Shop Foreman Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience dismounting, balancing and mounting tires.
  • Experience in automotive operating systems and technology.
  • Expertise with vehicle batteries and electrical systems.
  • Understanding in the area of vehicle-collision repair and estimating.
  • Ability to build and rebuild trailer components including brake system and equalizers.
  • Familiarity with automotive measuring and diagnostic tools.
  • Driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean record.

Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
