Job description

The Club at Bond Head is looking for an outgoing and responsible individual that would like to be part of the Golf Services team in a fast paced environment. Working with the team will prove to be both enjoyable and rewarding.

Summary: 

The backs shop position is one of utmost importance as it is the role that sets up success for each day. Whether it is opening or closing, both roles are highly important as they set up the team for success each and every day. The back shop provides and maintains all the tools that golfers may need for their round. The back shop is a very versatile role as they will be pulled in many directions during the day.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing assistance and information to ensure a positive guest experience.
    • Maintain the driving range by collecting, cleaning, and restocking golf balls, setting up practice areas, and ensuring the range is clean and safe for use.
    • Oversee cart fleet maintenance, including cleaning, charging, staging carts, and reporting any mechanical or safety issues.
    • Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of tournaments and special events, ensuring smooth and efficient execution.
    • Ensure the back shop area is organized, tidy, and safe at all times by following cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.

    Qualifications: 

    • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills  
    • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment  
    • Able to work with minimal supervision  
    • Strong attention to detail 
    • Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.
    • Must be available for evening, weekends and Holiday shifts

    Working Conditions:

    • Bending, balance, lifting (up to 30lbs), extended period of standing
