General Labour – Crack Filling Crew & Oil Shop Technician   We’re T. Weber Co. Ltd. (http://www.tweber.ca/index.htm) , and for the past 48 years,  we’ve  been providing clients throughout the Tri-Cities area with exceptional quality and service for all their asphalt construction needs.  Our expertise ranges from residential driveway paving and repairs to large scale commercial paving projects and undercoating.   We are looking for general labourers to help with a variety of roles, including working on asphalt paving crews, repairing cracks, and in our local oil shop.   These jobs are challenging, motivating, and involve lots of teamwork. Responsibilities As part of a crack filling crew, your duties may include: ** Cleaning Parking Lot ** Route and Fill Cracks with hot rubber ** Sweeping ** General Labour Duties ** Reading and Following Basic Site Drawing Working in our Oil shop, your duties will include: * Oil spraying cars, trucks and RV’s * Maintenance of company grounds, including clean shop, lawn care, gardening and weed removal * Performing maintenance to small engines, equipment and vehicles * Welding would be an asset Requirements * Valid G licence * Strong mechanical inclination * Ability to manage constant physical effort * Ability to work safely * Experience working in paving or on construction projects would be an asset; however, we are happy to train you  Rewards   * Crack Crew:   Steady Hours of work 40-50 hours per week from now until November, working alternative weekends & public holidays.  Opportunity to return in the spring. * Oil Shop:   Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30PM, Saturdays, 7:45 – 3:00PM * Highly competitive starting salary commensurate with experience; benefits available based on service * Training and support provided Just because we work hard though, it doesn’t mean we don’t like to have fun.
