Job description

Job Summary

The Pro Shop is the heartbeat of Pine Trace Golf Club's entire course operations. For this reason, we are seeking seeking mature, enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Pro Shop Assistant. Ideal candidates are self-motivated team players with superior communication skills. Full-time and part-time positions are available. 

Responsibilities

We welcome and train all experience levels.  As a member of our team, you will perform the following duties:

  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.  

  • Manage incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.  

  • Handle customer check-in procedures for reservations efficiently and accurately.  

  • Maintain and replenish inventory levels in the Pro Shop.  

  • Actively sell pro shop merchandise and assist customers with product selection.

  • Manage digital cart tracking system to keep track of pace of play.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for applicants who are:  

  • Friendly and Outgoing: Able to interact positively with guests and staff.  

  • Self-Motivated: Proactive in identifying and completing tasks without constant supervision.  

  • A Team Player: Willing to collaborate closely with other Pro Shop and Cart Staff, along with Starters and Rangers.

  • Detail-Oriented: Able to efficiently handle multiple support tasks in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including morning, afternoon, evening, and some weekend shifts.

  • Experience: Prior experience in golf and customer service is a plus, but not mandatory.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)  

  • Must display good judgment and problem solving skills.
