Key ResponsibilitiesThe Shop Manager will oversee all daily warehouse and shop activities, including receiving shipments, organizing inventory, assembling and testing equipment, and preparing materials for shipping or event deployment. This position is responsible for prepping gear prior to events and checking in returned equipment afterward, ensuring all items are handled properly, inspected for damage, and stored correctly. Any quality concerns, defects, or operational issues must be identified promptly and reported to the owner immediately.This role also includes maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and shop layout to improve efficiency and workflow. Property management responsibilities include outdoor maintenance such as snow removal and lawn care, garbage disposal, and restocking shop and facility supplies as needed.The Shop Manager will conduct regular inventory cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure accuracy and accountability. Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing equipment and materials is essential. In addition, the Shop Manager will supervise, train, and mentor warehouse and shop staff while promoting teamwork, accountability, and adherence to company procedures.The ideal candidate will ensure all equipment is assembled correctly, fully tested, and meets company quality standards before deployment. They will also coordinate shipping, receiving, and delivery schedules with the owner and work closely with commercial drivers, installation teams, and project managers to meet project deadlines and customer delivery expectations.Required QualificationsApplicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least 35 years of experience in warehouse operations, shop management, or operations leadership.
