We have an immediate need for a Shop Assistant at our Bessemer terminal! Great 1st shift schedule of 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday!
Shop Assistant Responsibilities

  • Lot checks to include trailer/equipment management reporting
  • Daily check on company/driver vehicles
  • Parts pickup and stocking
  • Assist with Driver rides around town as needed
  • Maintenance facility cleaning includes minor facility maintenance and outside lot
  • Washing and detailing tractors, trailers, and company equipment
  • Equipment inventory checks
  • Assist technicians with duties to include mounting and dismounting of tires.
  • Miscellaneous shop duties
  • Other duties as assigned

Shop Assistant Qualifications

  • Previous directly related experience a plus
  • Organized and good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs
  • Drivers license required
  • Post job offer physical and drug screen required
