Job description

Title: Shop Fabricator
Reports To: Operations Manager, Shop Supervisor and Shop Lead
Summary of Position:
Individual must possess the physical ability and mental capability to safely and effectively operate grinders, router, buffers, shear and TIG welder. Along with use of basic hand tools such as; vise grips, square, hammer and wrenches.
Duties amp; Responsibilities
Work daily in a fabrication shop, moving, lifting, and assembling equipment
Must be able to work weekends and overtime
Be flexible to assist in other departments as needed or required by shop management
Follow directions and instructions provided by Shop Manager, Shop Supervisor and Shop Lead
Required Skills amp; Experience
Possess mathematical skills, specifically being able to add and subtract fractions and decimals
Ability to read prints and spec sheets
Ability to lift and/or handle sheet metal up to 100 pounds
Possess the ability to work safely in all situations
Ability to read a tape measure in 16ths of an inch
Ability to work with others
Ability to drive a lift truck a plus, though not required
Ability to determine angles on miter cuts
Ability to successfully complete TIG weld test
