Job description

SHOE SHOW, INC., the country's largest privately held footwear retailer in business for 65 years with nearly 1,000 stores in 47 states, is seeking an experienced Benefits Analyst to join our team. This position is avaible at the Corporate Office located in Concord, NC. Local candidates are encouraged to apply!


What You Should Know

As Benefits Analyst, you will assist in the administration of the company's employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits. You will ensure compliance with regulations and assist employees with benefit-related issues. The role is performed on-site in the Corporate Headquarters in Concord, NC and reports to the Benefits Manager.


What You Will Do

-Process enrollments for new employees and manage changes for current employees.

-Respond to benefits inquiries in a professional and timely manner, provide forms, instructions, and other enrollment materials.

-Perform data entry activities to maintain accurate records in the benefits administration system.

-Coordinate with benefit providers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

-Assist with responding to employee inquiries and provide appropriate forms for FMLA leave.

-Manage benefit eligibility and collection of premiums for team members out on leave of absence.

-Process court ordered medical support notices.

-Crosstrain and serve as backup to other benefit functions as directed by department management.


Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of related Benefits experience
  • Understanding of employee benefits.
  • Knowledge of FMLA required.
  • Knowledge of ADA, COBRA, ACA, AND HIPPA preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, and proficiency in verbal and written communication.
