Many shoe stores also provide services such as measuring foot size, recommending proper fit, and sometimes shoe repairs. Some stores operate independently, while others are part of larger chains or department stores. Shopping at a shoe store allows customers to try on shoes before purchasing and get expert advice on selecting the right pair.
