Purpose of The Position
Reporting to the Supervisor, Operations Management, the incumbent supports all computer and physical activities carried out at the receiving, shipping and store. He carries out the preparation of the raw material for production, carries out the process of receiving and checking the goods. In addition, the incumbent may be called upon to perform various tasks related to production.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain order-related records such as the number, type of parts, consumables and tools available and where they are stored using a manual or computerized system
  • Carry out transactions as well as movements of goods received in the computer system and ensure proper inventory management.
  • Carry out receipts, shipments of goods and inspect the contents by comparing relevant documents (e.g. receipt form, purchase order, certificates of conformity, etc.)
  • Ensuring the reception and transfer of raw materials
  • Place the received material in location after receipt
  • Prepare, label and package goods according to established procedures
  • Prepare parts orders for assembly
  • Use a label printer to identify parts and tooling, etc.
  • Wear the required safety equipment to ensure that your work is always carried out safely
  • Perform a variety of related tasks to assist in the smooth running of company operations.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

Technical skills

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of an ERP system is an asset;
  • Forklift operator card (an asset);
  • Excellent proficiency in French (spoken and written), along with functional proficiency in written English, is required to read and understand technical documentation provided by suppliers located outside Quebec.
