Job description

The Shipping & Receiving Specialist supports daily warehouse operations through hands-on material handling and digital transaction processing. This role combines physical shipping activities with system-based documentation using SAP and Microsoft Office. The position requires strong attention to detail, comfort working on foot for extended periods, and the ability to manage moderately complex workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments using SAP Transactions and Scan Guns integrated with SAP
  • Receive goods and verify material number, description, and quantity against shipping documents
  • Inspect incoming goods for damage and document discrepancies
  • Capture shipment data in enterprise systems and maintain accurate records
  • Package items using expanding foam, box assembly, and packaging machines
  • Prepare outbound shipments, attach shipping documents, and close transactions in SAP
  • Operate hand-guided industrial trucks and cranes (no forklift required)
  • Perform stock maintenance, cycle counts, and inventory organization
  • Use Microsoft Teams and Email Communication for shipment tracking and customer inquiries
  • Lift up to 70 lbs (team lift or crane for heavier items)
Qualifications
