As a Shipping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing facility's logistics. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and oversee the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods. You will work closely with our production team to understand their needs and ensure a smooth flow of materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized work environment, utilizing your skills in forklift and overhead crane operation.

  • Collaborate with the production team to understand material requirements and maintain an accurate inventory.
  • Operate forklift and overhead crane equipment to move and store materials safely.
  • Implement and maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
  • Communicate with carriers and logistics providers to arrange transportation and track shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during shipping and receiving processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery status.
