Job description

Job Summary:

Works closely with the Production Manager to support all facilities, shipping and receiving activities.

Functions:

Responsible for assigning tasks per facilities task sheet and ensuring all tasks are complete daily

Train’s facilities, shipping and receiving employees

Coordinates and ensures all shipping and receiving, working direction and support systems are completed daily

Schedule’s preventive maintenance activity detail sheet to ensure completion by due date. This will include assigning personnel for weekend coverage

Responsible for ordering and maintaining all shipping supplies

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

General knowledge of warehouse procedures

Some physical effort required in lifting

Valid permit for operation of forklift

Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Build strong internal and external relationships using effective verbal and written communication skills

Work independently without regular direct supervision

Must be a provider of excellent customer service
