Position Title: Business Development Executive
The Business Development Executive is a pivotal role focused on driving growth in domestic and international transportation. This position requires a proactive approach to engage with U.S.-based shippers through high-volume outbound activities. Candidates will navigate a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with operations and sales teams to develop tailored transportation solutions. The role emphasizes relationship-building and consultative selling, ensuring a strong alignment with customer needs. Successful candidates will thrive in a corporate yet startup-like culture, where adaptability and commercial acumen are essential for success.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 / Year DOE
Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with operations regarding shipment management
  • Engage in proactive hunting and follow-up with customers
  • Manage leads through a round-robin system within the team

  • Sell customized transportation solutions based on capacity and service requirements
  • Oversee the sales cycle from initial outreach to onboarding
  • Collaborate closely with carrier sales and operations for effective freight execution

Benefits:
  • PTO with 10 sick days and 2 or 3 float days
  • 100% of employee benefits covered except for medical and dental
