Job description

Job Title:         Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Client:              Medical Device Manufacturing Industry
Duration:         12 Months (Possible Extension)
Location:         Dexter, MI 48130
Shift:                1st Shift

Responsibilities:

  • Perform shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
  • Receive, inspect, and prepare materials for shipment.
  • Pack, unpack, and verify incoming and outgoing products.
  • Process shipping documents, freight bills, packing slips, and bills of lading.
  • Use computer systems to track, log, verify, and report inventory and shipments.
  • Verify product quantity, weight, and identification accuracy.
  • Route shipments and post shipping charges.
  • Support inventory control, storage, and distribution activities.
  • Follow shipping procedures, transportation schedules, and safety standards.
  • Assist with production support and warehouse operations as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience.
  • Knowledge of production, warehouse, and shipping procedures.
  • Experience using computer systems for inventory and shipping transactions.
  • Ability to read and process shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
