What You’ll Do

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles and transport materials and items from receiving to production areas or from production to storage or to other areas using a forklift or hand truck.
  • Clean, package, and protect finished products in accordance with customer, project, and company requirements.
  • Prepare international shipment documentation and assist with export shipments.
  • Participate in pickups/deliveries with all company vehicles.
  • Prepare, stage, load, and process inbound and outbound shipments according to the daily schedule established by the Logistics and Shipping Lead.
  • Perform receiving verification against purchase requisitions confirming quantity, sizes, condition, identification, packing lists, and visible damage, and route materials requiring formal inspection to Quality.
  • Maintain material traceability, identification, and segregation throughout the receiving, storage, packaging, and shipping processes.
  • Maintain neat and orderly storage of material; clearly labeling all components appropriately.
  • Complete required ERP transactions for received and shipped materials.
  • Monitor shipping and receiving supply levels and request replenishment or place approved orders as directed.
  • Perform and document routine vehicle and forklift inspections and notify the Logistics and Shipping Lead of required maintenance or repairs.
  • Capture and retain required photographs of parts and completed packaging.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for cost saving initiatives and process improvements for shipping, receiving, safety, quality, and workflow.
  • Complete and retain accurate receiving, shipping, delivery, carrier, and purchasing documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Collaborate effectively with employees across all departments to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed or requested to meet the needs of customer timelines.
  • Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Recognize, report, and correct errors.
  • Support the company's quality policy, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 5S practices, LEAN and world class manufacturing initiatives.
  • Provide operational support to the Logistics and Shipping Lead as needed to meet department objectives.
  • Commit to the corporate goals, mission, and vision.
  • Regular physical attendance is required.
  • Travel, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school education or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse shipping/receiving/logistics experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to safely operate or become certified to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to read packing lists, purchase orders, part numbers, and basic manufacturing documentation.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to do minor vehicle maintenance.
  • Experience with ERP software.
  • Ability to use UPS, FedEx or similar carrier systems.
  • Working knowledge and handling of International export documents.
  • Prior manufacturing environment experience.
  • Basic understanding of business operations.
