Job description

Shipping & Receiving Manager

Join Our Growing Team!

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Manager to oversee the daily flow of incoming materials and outgoing finished products in our fast-paced printing and fulfillment operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
  • Coordinate LTL, parcel, freight, and local shipments.
  • Verify incoming materials and outgoing orders for accuracy and condition.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, labels, bills of lading, and related paperwork.
  • Manage inventory movement and maintain accurate records.
  • Lead and coordinate warehouse/shipping staff and daily workflow.
  • Work closely with Production, Sales, and Customer Service to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve carrier or delivery problems.
  • Ensure orders are packaged, palletized, and shipped according to customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with shipping software and carrier systems.
  • Ability to operate or oversee the use of pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
  • Experience in a printing, fulfillment, or manufacturing environment is a plus.
