Job description

We are seeking passionate, qualified, and knowledgeable employees to join our Fishing Department at our St. George store. As a member of the Al's team, you'll help create a welcoming, professional shopping experience for every customer while sharing your passion for fishing and the outdoors.
You'll work closely with customers to share your expertise in fly fishing, baitcasting, spinning setups, ice fishing, trolling, and jigging, helping them find the right rods, reels, tackle, and accessories for their individual fishing styles and local waters.
The ideal candidate has hands-on fishing experience and strong product knowledge across multiple fishing techniques and gear categories. Responsibilities include assisting customers with product selection, explaining equipment features, helping anglers match rods, reels, and line setups, and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked department.

  • Provide a positive, friendly, and knowledgeable customer experience in the Fishing Department.

  • Ability to provide quick, accurate information regarding products, pricing, and promotions.
  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

  • Maintains cleanliness, organization, and safety of the sales floor.
