The Shift Coordinator is responsible for the direct supervision of support staff in the absence of the Program Coordinator. In addition, the Shift Coordinator is instrumental in the development and implementation of the individuals’ ISPs and programs. The Shift Coordinator is responsible for providing case management as assigned by the Program Coordinator, providing direct care (including personal care) and supervision to the individuals, and is responsible for carrying out the necessary operations and activities of the residence during their assigned shift.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervise support staff in conjunction with the Program Coordinator for all assigned shifts.
  • Follow principles of PBS (Positive Behavior Supports) procedures.
  • Assist in case management using the team approach and help develop, implement and review individual service plans. Be active member of the team and provide feedback from daily interactions.
  • Maintain MAP Certification and dispense medication as needed.  Follows established systems to ensure quality health care of the individuals.  Responsible for maintaining all required trainings and certifications.
  • Maintain good communication skills (oral and written) with co-workers, administrative staff, individuals, families, and caseworkers

  • Pay Range; $19.50-$22.31 hour
