About the Role

As our Night Manager, you will oversee nightly operations at our state-of-the-art cold storage facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse during the night shift, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and maintaining high standards of service and productivity.

What You’ll Do

  1. Operational Management:
    • Oversee and manage all night shift warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping.
    • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of orders and shipments.
    • Coordinate with day shift management to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of operations.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and staff development.
    • Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  3. Inventory Control:
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee regular cycle counts.
    • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Coordinate with inventory control staff to resolve any inventory-related issues.
  4. Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including OSHA and HACCP standards.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
    • Promote a culture of safety and implement safety training programs for all night shift staff.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all products are stored and handled according to company standards and customer requirements.
    • Monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of products during storage and shipping.
    • Address and resolve any quality issues or customer complaints in a timely manner.
  6. Facility Maintenance:
    • Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
    • Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any equipment malfunctions or facility issues promptly.
  7. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on night shift activities, including productivity, inventory levels, and safety incidents.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all warehouse operations and transactions.

What You Bring to the Pak

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a cold storage or logistics environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Certifications: [required/preferred certifications – e.g., “HACCP, BRC required. OSHA certification a plus.”]
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Physical Requirements [& Travel - Include travel frequency if applicable] 

  • Ability to work in cold storage environments as low as -10°F
  • Stand, walk, and lift as required for job duties
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift from 2:30 PM - 11 PM
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as needed

Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 annually

The range listed is the Company’s good-faith estimate of the annual base salary for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, location, internal equity, and market factors, consistent with applicable pay transparency laws.
