Night shift jobs are positions where employees work during the nighttime hours, typically between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. These roles are common in industries that require 24-hour operations, such as healthcare, manufacturing, security, and transportation. Working the night shift can offer higher pay through shift differentials but may also come with challenges, such as disrupted sleep patterns and social adjustments. Many people choose night shifts for the flexibility or due to personal preferences.

What Are Night Shift Jobs?

Night shift (or graveyard shift) jobs are employment opportunities that fall outside of typical business hours. Jobs with this work schedule are available at establishments that are open late or are open twenty-four hours a day.
