Position Overview

Shaw Industries is looking for ambitious, people-centered talent to join our Residential Sales Trainee Program: a dynamic career-launching experience designed to develop the next generation of high-performing sales professionals.

As a Residential Sales Trainee, you'll receive hands-on training, real-world experience, and personalized coaching while learning the ins and outs of Shaw's products, customers, and market strategy. By the end of the program, you'll be ready to step into a professional selling role with confidence, product expertise, and a strong network behind you.

What You'll Do

  • Our extensive 8-10 week sales training program at our headquarters in northwest Georgia prepares associates for a successful sales career supporting our residential hard and soft surface businesses. Associates participate in everything from team building activities, plant tours, product knowledge assessments, corporate networking, professional presentations and much more.

  • Following training, associates transition into a field apprenticeship where they enter into a geographic market within the US (this being Georgia) and apply what they learned with the support of other successful sales leaders. Here, they get to learn best practices while gaining hands-on, on-the-job training.

  • At the end of their apprenticeship, they are placed into one of our sales locations throughout the US as a territory manager.
