Job description

Overview

The Installation Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the successful delivery, installation, network connectivity, and customer onboarding of office technology equipment, including multifunction printers (MFPs), copiers, printers, production devices, and related software solutions. Acting as the central point of communication between customers, Sales, Service, IT, and Operations, this role ensures installations are completed on time, accurately, and with best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

Installation Coordination

  • Coordinate all aspects of equipment delivery and installation for new, replacement, and upgraded copier and printer systems.
  • Schedule installations with customers, delivery personnel, service technicians, network analysts, and other internal departments.
  • Confirm installation dates, site readiness requirements, network information, and customer expectations prior to installation.
  • Ensure all equipment, accessories, software, and service resources are available before scheduled installations.
  • Monitor installation timelines and proactively communicate any delays or schedule changes.

Customer Communication

  • Serve as the primary customer contact from order submission through installation completion.
  • Communicate delivery schedules, installation requirements, and implementation updates.
  • Coordinate customer training schedules and onboarding activities when required.
  • Conduct post-installation follow-up calls to confirm customer satisfaction and resolve outstanding issues.
Position Specifications
  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, project coordination, logistics, dispatching, or office technology administration.
  • Copier, printer, managed print, or office technology industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location.
