The SharePoint Solutions Architect will be responsible for bridging the gap between Knowledge Management strategy and technical execution.

Important: Employment is contingent upon contract award, anticipated in Fall 2026. The selected candidate will formally assume the role upon contract award.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Architecting enterprise SharePoint Online environments, including site structures, metadata models, content types, taxonomy, permissions, and information architecture across NIPR and SIPR environments.

  • Designing scalable solutions across SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

  • Translating Knowledge Management strategies, governance requirements, content lifecycle standards, and information-flow processes into functional technical architectures.

  • Developing low-code applications, automated workflows, dashboards, and reusable solution components that address enterprise mission requirements.

  • Prototyping new solutions and leading technical testing, evaluation, and secure configuration prior to enterprise deployment.

  • Creating reusable workflow templates, modular solution components, and technical patterns that can be adopted across geographically dispersed units.

  • Establishing technical standards and governance practices that support scalable, secure, and sustainable SharePoint and Power Platform environments.

  • Documenting system architectures, configurations, governance policies, technical designs, operational procedures, and implementation guidance.

  • Collaborating with Knowledge Management Analysts, cybersecurity personnel, enterprise architects, technical teams, and military leadership to align solutions with mission and security requirements.

  • Supporting continuous improvement of enterprise collaboration, information management, automation, and Knowledge Management capabilities.

  • Troubleshooting complex architectural and technical issues while balancing security, usability, scalability, and operational requirements.

What Youโ€™ll Need:

  • Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert certification.

  • 6+ years designing, building, and sustaining enterprise-level SharePoint 365 / SharePoint Online solutions.

  • Advanced hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

  • Enterprise SharePoint architecture experience, including information architecture, metadata, content types, taxonomy, site structures, governance, and permissions.

  • Experience translating business, Knowledge Management, or information governance requirements into technical solutions.

  • Experience designing secure solutions within environments with stringent security and access requirements, including NIPR/SIPR environments.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to commute daily to Arlington, Virginia location

It's A Plus If You Have This:

  • Supporting Department of Defense, military, National Guard, or other federal enterprise environments.

  • Leading enterprise-wide SharePoint migrations, modernization initiatives, or cloud governance programs.

  • Applying Knowledge Management principles within large, distributed organizations.

  • Working with Microsoft 365 enterprise governance, security, compliance, and information lifecycle management.

  • Supporting geographically distributed organizations with standardized, reusable technology solutions.

  • Holding additional Microsoft 365, SharePoint, cybersecurity, or cloud certifications.

What's In It For You:

  • Enterprise-scale challenges: Build solutions designed for adoption across geographically dispersed organizations rather than solving isolated technical problems.

  • Making an impact: Architect solutions supporting mission-critical federal and defense operations.

  • Mission-focused work: Apply your SharePoint and Power Platform expertise within a secure military environment.

  • Comprehensive benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company matching; PTO; and federal holidays.
