Job Description

We are looking for Senior BI Analyst in Washington, DC for 4 months contract.

Qualifications
  • Responsible for combining business analysis with data profiling to understand the current state of Amtrak data assets and how those data assets can be leveraged to provide enhanced decision making abilities.  
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages used by the organization to manage and manipulate data, such as SQL and Business Objects.  
  • Experience in Business Intelligence Product design and have a solid understanding of development, data models, testing, and integration methodologies.
  • Responsible for the designing, modeling, developing and supporting Data Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of Data Profiling and Assessment techniques, and applying data analysis in support of business needs
  • Builds in-depth knowledge of the business area of focus and knowledge of most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores and data marts
  • Proven experience with data warehousing and modeling methods, techniques, standards, and procedures
  • Deep experience with database query concepts
  • Experience in researching and analyzing user data and data warehouse systems
  • Stellar communication skills, both written and oral with individuals at all levels of an organization, including senior leadership
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks
