Location: Washington, DC, 20005 (Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite)

About the Role
Join a dynamic team as a Senior Microsoft Certified SharePoint Engineer, driving the modernization and migration of enterprise SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365). Leverage your expertise to architect, implement, and optimize secure, scalable collaboration solutions while mentoring others and shaping technology strategy in a hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and technical strategy for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms
- Execute enterprise-scale migrations from SharePoint On-Premises (2010/2013/2016/2019) to SharePoint Online, including legacy assessments, roadmap development, and risk mitigation
- Define information architecture, governance models, and lifecycle management frameworks
- Develop and enforce governance, security, and compliance standards for SharePoint Online, collaborating with security teams on controls (retention, DLP, access)
- Optimize platform performance, search, and usability through modern SharePoint design and Power Platform integration (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Advise stakeholders, project managers, and leadership on best practices and organizational change management
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and operational standards
- Review and enhance Microsoft 365 rollout roadmaps, aligning with business goals and compliance requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- Microsoft certification in SharePoint or Microsoft 365 (Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Teamwork Administrator Associate)
- 7+ years of enterprise SharePoint experience with proven leadership in SharePoint On-Premises to Online migrations
- Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, modern sites, hub sites, and search
