Job title-     Sr. SharePoint Architect/Sharepoint Designer

Duration-  6 months

Location-  Salem OR

Description-

  • A Sharepoint Designer Consultant assists our customers to improve graphic design and web page development.
  • The Sharepoint Designer should have a firm grasp of HTML and .CSS and have demonstrated the ability to create designs and mockups using tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks. 
  • Candidate must have experience working with SharePoint 2010 advanced features including page design; master page development, and workflow. 
  • This role will entail a strong functional and technical understanding of SharePoint 2010.

Skills Desired-

A proven ability to work directly with the clients/business to elicit/document requirements and drive functional vision.

         Ability to create new SharePoint page layouts, designs and master pages.

         Ability to create and modify new and existing style sheets, HTML to foster page development.

         SharePoint Analyst skills; requirements, design, testing, and validation and deployment

         Ability to create graphics and images to incorporate into new designs

         SharePoint 2010 end-user administration (permissions, workflow, site creation and management)

         A strong functional and technical understanding of SharePoint 2010.

         Excellent oral and written communication skills

         Ability to conduct customer meetings, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand current uses of SharePoint and potential opportunities to expand SharePoint's use within their unit.

         Have experience executing tasks within a structured project environment.

         Knowledge of project management concepts, software development lifecycle and quality assurance techniques.

         Demonstrated ability to synthesize business requirements into system functionality within the SharePoint framework

         Be able to facilitate best practices solutions from SharePoint "out of the box" functionality

         Act as a Subject Matter Expert for SharePoint 2010
