Job description

General Purpose of Position:
The Studio Property Lead plays a critical role in the development of both digital and physical properties that support studio deliverables. This position is responsible for creating digital armature models and managing the release and execution of build requests for physical properties. It requires close coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure builds are delivered accurately and on time, in alignment with GVDP gates, branded ID prototypes, architectural studies, and branded advanced vision models. The role demands proficiency in math creation, data transmission, and fabrication processes. The Studio Property Lead actively contributes to problem-solving by collaborating with design and engineering stakeholders, and operates both independently and as part of a broader team to achieve property objectives.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
* Exhibits a safety mindset while identifying, taking ownership and resolving safety concerns
* Develops digital armatures for physical models throughout the GVDP
* Support studio personnel in the development of solutions to engineering and design challenges
* Responsible for creating digital models which meets Design approval, Engineering criteria requirements, and data release standards
* Fundamental understanding of program timelines and related model quality requirements
* Adhere to common Company Global Design processes / best practices
* Attend appropriate program related meetings as defined by Sculpting Leadership
* Perform fundamental assessment of model build quality for studio properties
* Adhere to corporate data management processes (TeamCenter, SharePoint etc.) and communication systems (timekeeping, email etc.) 


* Demonstrates the courage to make the changes that will improve the organization and helps others overcome their resistance to change
* Intermediate level of digital proficiency
* Proficient in the use of NX software or other digital modeling equipment
* Ability to interpret Design requests and to translate the input into 3D models
* Can successfully incorporate engineering criteria into a property build
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others
* Good oral and written communications skills
* Functional knowledge in the use of current office software (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
