Job Description

NT Concepts is currently seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Developer to join our team based in Vienna, VA. This position will support an Arlington, Virginia based Government client partner. Duties to include the following:

  • Building SharePoint Solutions using SharePoint designer, JQuery or ASP.NET when the requirements merit compiled code.
  • Work with the business analyst to understand the end users' needs.
  • Research and recommend third party tools to solve a business need or create custom web parts.
  • Workflow Development as required.
  • Participate in testing as needed.
  • Perform Microsoft .NET development to extend and augment SharePoint platform.

Integrating both custom developed and third-party SharePoint solution packages

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent in experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years programming experience using Microsoft .NET technologies in a web-centric environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in progressively challenging technical roles developing and deploying applications.
  • Experience in building and maintaining applications using object oriented methodology.
  • Position requires a solid understanding of Microsoft IW principles including supporting technologies such as SharePoint Technologies, Office System, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services and Web services.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing, designing, development and delivery of web-based applications are required.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server.
  • Clear and effective communications skills (written and oral) are required in addition to the ability to work with all levels of employees, team members and end users.
  • Position requires an active DoD Secret level clearance.
  • Local travel (Arlington, VA) may be required.
