Overview

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified SharePoint Developer to join our team in support of our government customer on site in Fort Belvoir, VA. The SharePoint Developer will perform as a technical expert in the area of SharePoint development and administration to support the operation, maintenance, and modification of the ARIMS family of applications.

Essential Job Duties

  • Develop, configure, and manage SharePoint applications and site collections.
  • Monitor and remediate any issues with SharePoint site collections and permissions.
  • Monitor and apply SharePoint patches and software updates.
  • Migrate and sustain SharePoint site collections into the environment or new hardware platforms.
  • Lead IT projects involving SharePoint, ensuring they meet government requirements and needs.
  • Provide solutions to technical problems related to SharePoint.
  • Communicate effectively with government stakeholders regarding SharePoint issues and solutions.
  • Support program/project requirements with SharePoint Enterprise features.
  • Support program stakeholders with ad hoc updates to any customized SharePoint page content to include end user training.
  • Assist the project manager and client in developing a schedule/timeframe for each project to ensure each one is executed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain complete and accurate documentation on all supported applications.
  • Work with customer stakeholders to design or customize applications with a focus on optimizing operational efficiency.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in engineering, scientific, technical, or business management disciplines from an accredited college or university.
  • In lieu of a bachelor's or postgraduate degree, must have a minimum of 5 years of installing, configuring, developing, and managing the Microsoft SharePoint Office 365 application experience.
  • An active in scope Top Secret security clearance or Secret with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
  • Proven senior level experience with MS 365 SharePoint Online.
  • Knowledgeable in system specifications, integration, and hardware/software compatibility.
  • Ability to lead numerous IT projects related to SharePoint.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders in multiple formats.
  • Must possess baseline and computing environment certifications for IAT-II IAW DoD 8570.01-M (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, or SSCP). 
  • Foundational experience designing and developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Ability to build and automate workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
  • Basic experience creating dashboards, reports, or data visualizations using Power BI.
  • Experience designing intuitive user interfaces and translating business needs into functional Power Platform solutions.
  • Understanding of how Power Apps and Power Automate integrate with SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications in SharePoint development or administration (Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate, Developer Associate; MSCE: Productivity Solutions Expert, Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
  • Experience with Agile Project Management methodologies is desired.  
  • Extensive experience in SharePoint migrations and updates.
  • Experience in working with government systems, particularly within the DoD or Army sectors.
  • Strong background in IT project management, with a focus on SharePoint applications.

  • Normal office conditions.
  • On government site within Ft. Belvoir, VA.

  • Compensation: $135K - $145K yearly.
