The People Experience Lead is responsible for the end-to-end HR service delivery, acting as the interface between the functions/site on one side and shared services center/ workstream leads on the other. The Lead is responsible for continuously improving the employee experience for the Functions/ Chicago HQ site, driving and enabling self-service, supporting People Leads of Global functions & HQ HR Operations, flagging key business requirements as well as building strong relationships with Functions and People Services stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates across the BU to ensure People Services strategy is aligned to the BU needs and drives the strategy implementation at BU/Functional/ site level.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end HR service delivery (ongoing onboarding, local learning delivery, time & attendance, performance management, ER/ LR, local query resolution etc..) for the BU/Functional/ site level.
  • Key point of contact to employee and managers for HR related queries, self-service transactions, HR portal navigation, policy interpretation and process support requiring face-to-face interaction and hard copy documentation. Acts as a key interface between the business unit and shared service center; promoting self-service, flagging BU requirements to SSC and advising the Business on SSC support.
  • Leads BU Squads consisting of local People Experience Advisors, Talent Acquisition Lead/ Advisors as well as centrally located Employee Life Events teams to ensure BU needs are met in an efficient and effective way.
  • Leads and oversees Employee Relations service delivery where not supported by Shared Services/ delivered by the People Experience Advisors.
  • Promotes the HR operating model within the BU and seeks the right balance between efficient service delivery and tailored employee experience. Acts as point of escalation for Functional Leadership Team, Uses Business Unit knowledge to identify specific BU requirements and applies this in service delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Responsible for application of the service delivery model and end-to-end process framework for the BU; driving continuous improvement through benchmarking, to provide efficient, effective, and compliant People Services, with an employee driven culture. Takes a continuous improvement focus to ensure great employee experience for all employees within a BU as well as more and more efficient service delivery.

Support to People Lead responsibilities - Chicago HQ & Global Functions
  • People Strategy & Operating plan, Org design and Structure, Workforce planning: Support towards review of external & internal practice and analytics. Proactively engage during Org design planning and implementation phase.
  • Support towards Tracking on the organization dynamics & analytics along the year.
  • Strategic Talent Management: Promote Self-service and provide STR Analytics support to PL's as needed and build capability to navigate Workday. Support PL's towards End of program placement as part of Early careers program.
  • Culture & Engagement: Support PL's towards driving Engagement participation, communication, focus group discussions, Engagement activation via site specific Culture/ ERG activities, Townhalls coordination, neighborhood partnerships etc.
  • Capability & Life cycle events: Support PL's in key Capability program delivery & activation, JBA refresh, PT Careers, People Team site updates & communication

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, (preferred specialization will be HR, psychology, Management information systems)
  • At least 5 yrs of experience (HR business partnering, Talent Mgmt., Talent Acquisition, People Services/operations etc..)
  • Working in a project-driven organization
  • Managing multiple and diverse stakeholders
  • Previous HR Experiences (HRBL/TA/ PE/COE)
  • Change management and governance processes.
  • Influencing and communicating with others
  • Presentation skills
  • Compliance and controls (experience in audits or part of programs)
  • Working effectively in a constantly changing environment and using initiative and personal resourcefulness

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
