At i360technologies, we deliver business consulting and technology solutions that support the mission of federal agencies.

i360 is seeking a Technical Writer to develop and maintain the procedural and technical documentation that supports the client's Oracle Federal Financials environment, operated as a shared service serving multiple agencies and roughly 19,000 user accounts. This role turns complex system and financial processes into clear, accurate, accessible documentation, and keeps that documentation current as the system changes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Write and maintain procedural documentation, including SOPs, desk guides, job aids, and user guides for system and financial processes.
  • Develop and edit functional and technical specifications, manuals, reports, and other client deliverables.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze technical information from functional, technical, and help desk staff, and translate it into clear guidance.
  • Keep documentation current as configurations, processes, and releases change, and version it appropriately.
  • Ensure documentation meets Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Contribute documentation to comprehensive solution packages for new solutions and major enhancements.
  • Support recurring status and help desk performance reporting as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 7 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience producing procedural and technical documentation for technical or financial systems.
  • Strong command of writing mechanics, organization, and documentation tools.
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain client site access.
Nice to Have
  • Documentation experience in Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Federal Financials, or other enterprise financial systems.
  • Familiarity with federal financial management environments and shared service operations.
  • Experience with Section 508 compliance and ServiceNow-managed change control.
