Shag Driver

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Shift: 2nd Shift

Reporting Staff: None

Alternate in Case of Absence: None

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for driving the shag truck to hook up to trailers and move them in and out of the docks to be loaded/unloaded by the Warehouse Team Members. During downtime of driving the shag truck, this position will work as a warehouse operator.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently move trailers to different locations
  • Communicate with supervisor and clerks when/where trailers are located
  • Reports any safety issues of tractor vehicle
  • Complete yard checks
  • Responsible for Food Safety
  • Material Handler Forklift Operator during downtime as shag driver
