Job description

Position Purpose:To support ministry to children and parents by editing provided curriculum sources to perfectly pair age-appropriate content with Stonegate's values and mission. The curriculum coordinator will implement curriculum that allows our SGC team pace with kids/students/families through the process of spiritual transformation. The coordinator will ensure that ministry to the next generation is marked with excellence, fosters connection inside and outside the church, provides avenues for intentional growth and leads kids and their families to live out lives of influence in the community.



Role Basics | Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Collaborate with Ministry Director to contextualize and implement age-appropriate small group curriculum and engaging large group environments.
  • Edit and supply different age-appropriate curriculum for ages Birth- 5th grade.
  • Research crafts and activities to match theme of lessons.
  • Resource all supplies for lesson plans: printing, cutting, creating instructions and examples of crafts.
  • Restock any unused materials for future use.
  • Create and revise schedules for classrooms
  • Collaborate with SGC team to develop family experiences and engaging trainings for staff in line with overall vision, strategy and direction of curriculum.
  • Maintain consistent communication with team by attending all necessary staff meetings and being a team player in ministry-specific and church-wide events.
  • Assist SGC team in developing events, programming and outreach within the constraints of the budget.

Minimum Work and Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of relevant work/volunteer experience in a large church's Children's Ministry, a school, or other like-minded organization.
