What this job involves:

Join JLL's dynamic facilities management team as an Assistant Facilities Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting property operations and maintenance across key client portfolios. This position combines hands-on facility management with team leadership responsibilities, requiring you to oversee engineering staff while ensuring exceptional service delivery that exceeds client expectations. You'll contribute directly to JLL's business objectives by maintaining operational excellence, managing vendor relationships, and driving cost efficiencies that enhance property value. With exposure to building systems, financial management, and strategic planning, this role offers excellent career advancement opportunities within JLL's integrated facilities management division while making a tangible impact on client satisfaction and operational performance.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional facility management services and implementing programs that increase customer satisfaction and support corporate real estate objectives

Ensure compliance with JLL audit standards, monitor KPIs and Service Level Agreements monthly, and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed performance targets

Conduct regular building inspections to ensure safe, well-maintained environments that comply with local codes and JLL operational standards

Support work order management for in-house staff and vendors while overseeing facility soft services including meeting preparation, conference room setups, and administrative functions

Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and vendor payment management while ensuring compliance with financial policies and contractual authorities

Collaborate with Senior Occupancy Planners on office moves and configurations while managing vendor relationships and sourcing local services for day-to-day operations

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook, plus Adobe applications

Excellent customer service, computer, and communication skills with strong verbal and written abilities for client-facing interactions

Experience with computer or web-based Work Order Management Systems (Corrigo preferred) and ability to multi-task effectively in fast-paced environments

Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish to support diverse client and vendor communications

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage vendor relationships, ensure service delivery compliance, and document performance issues

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

Additional experience in integrated facilities management or corporate real estate environments

Advanced knowledge of building automation systems and energy management practices

Experience with budgeting and operational expense management in commercial properties

Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor setup procedures within large organizations

Background in safety and compliance management within facilities or construction environments

Professional certifications in facilities management or building operations (CFM, SFP, or equivalent credentials)

Shift: Shift: 1st, Monday - Friday, 9 to 6 pm EST.
