DescriptionPosition Summary:

Coordinates all construction and renovation with the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and POA architect. Attends meetings, records and transcribes minutes and provides administrative support for the committee. Interfaces with contractors, vendors, and members with regard to ARC governing documents and guidelines

Reports directly to the General Manager/Chief Operating Officer

Administrative
  • Coordinates with General Manager and ARC Chair on all ARC related projects and correspondence.
  • Prepares meeting notices and agendas, attends meetings and records and distributes monthly meeting minutes for the ARC.
  • Maintains correspondence and coordinates communication for the ARC.
  • Manage applications by members/owners and their architects, engineers, contractors and other professionals. Assist with the preparation with applications for Owners (when requested) including taking photographs of proposed projects and existing conditions.
  • Acts as liaison and administrative support for the ARC.
  • Provide access and copies of applications, related documents (governing documents, plat maps, SFP dock window map) when requested.
  • Performs other duties as directed by General Manager and ARC Chair.
Community
  • Conduct weekly drive by and site visits throughout the community. Address ARC guidelines violations - create, track and distribute correspondence and resolution.
  • Work in collaboration with other departments for issuance of ARC signs, collecting and refunding deposits and communicating with members/vendors.
  • Directly review and ensure compliance with the Architectural Review Guidelines and Governing Documents for exterior changes and improvements to individual residences (condominiums are excluded).
  • Monitor Martin County building permits to ensure compliance with ARC requirements.
Education/Training/Certificates/Licenses:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in residential construction preferred.
  • Must be Florida Notary Public.
  • Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) license required or ability to obtain within six months from date of hire.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, Martin County Plat Maps, SFP Governing documents and SFP Architectural Review Guidelines.
Working Conditions:

Work will be divided between indoor and outdoor work. The proportion of indoor to outdoor work will fluctuate. May be exposed to weather conditions such as heat, cold or rain while working outdoors. Must have the mobility to move freely about Sailfish Point, including both driving and walking on property. Must have flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach overhead. Must be able to sit for several hours at a time. Must be able to lift 15-20 lbs. regularly.
