A sexton, who manages maintenance and operations of a church or cemetery, typically earns less than $10,000 per month. What jobs pay $400 an hour?

Jobs that can pay $400 an hour include specialized roles such as high-level consultants, experienced surgeons, corporate lawyers, and certain executive positions. These roles typically require advanced skills, extensive experience, and often involve high-stakes or niche expertise. The role requires a balance of physical work, organizational skills, and sensitivity when interacting with the public.

In this career, your job duties include overseeing the maintenance of the church and ground, handling the burial of caskets in the cemetery, and hiring contractors for repairs. The educational qualifications for this career vary greatly depending on the hiring church. You need to possess strong organizational skills and have experience working in a church facility.

To thrive as a Sexton, you need practical skills in facility maintenance, groundskeeping, and basic repairs, typically supported by experience in custodial or building management roles.
