PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Boxing Machine Operator to support our box manufacturing operations. The Boxing Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used to produce corrugated boxes, ensuring products meet quality and production standards. Key responsibilities include machine operation, monitoring equipment performance, making adjustments as needed, and inspecting finished boxes for accuracy and durability. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean and organized workspace and meeting production targets.
Schedule: Day Shift, M-F 8:00 am โ€“ 5:00 pm (1 hour lunch)
Pay: $25 to $28 Depending on experience
Duties/Responsibilities:
General Duties:
  • Meeting production targets

  • Following production guidelines and specifications.

Physical Requirements:
  • Very Heavy work: Lifting up to 50 pounds constantly on your own amp; up to 100 pounds via team lift frequently during a 8-hour shift.
  • Standing: To remain on oneโ€™s feet in an upright position without moving about during a 10-hour shift with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
  • Stooping: Bending the body forward and down while bending the spine at the waist 45 degrees or more either over something below waist level or down towards an object on or near the ground.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discriminations in sound.
  • Vision: The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.
  • Temperature: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions, but must be able to adapt to cold or hot temperatures.
