In September 2021, Dell Med's IM program deployed a resident staffed team to Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin (SMCA) Hospital. SMCA is a full-service hospital with 24/7 emergency care and comprehensive Level 1 Stroke Center. SMCA also has a Level IV Trama Center.

Qualifications
Required:
- The selected candidate must have an M.D./D.O., be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and must have completed specialty training in Addiction Medicine and/or be board certified or board eligible in Addiction specialty
- Unrestricted license (or ability to obtain within 90 days of appointment) to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
- Eligible for appointment as an Assistant Professor or above.
