Registered Nurse Position at St. Ann's Home & School

St. Ann's Home & School, in Methuen, MA, is a leader in special education and residential programming, offering private day programs, child and adolescent residential services, along with a broad range of outpatient services. St. Ann's is seeking a registered nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. This position would be for our residential program, even though St. Ann's Home is both a school and a residential facility. This is an evening position (shift is 2pm-10pm). Full time or part time. There is also weekend and holiday rotation.

Candidates should possess strong communication, computer, and interpersonal skills. Massachusetts nursing license and CPR certification is required. Pediatric or psychiatric experience preferred. The nurse should be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time, climb stairs, drive a motor vehicle, and use the telephone for extended periods of time. There is extensive contact with other agencies, parents, physicians, or others via telephone and in person. The nurse may need to physically restrain children in an emergency.
