  • As a digital and analog electronics designer within multidisciplinary teams, your main responsibilities will include all stages of the life cycle of electronic boards, from architecture to production, including design and validation in different technological fields such as telecommunications, automotive, consumer products, industrial solutions, MedTech and much more.

  • Effectuer des taches d'analyse des requis, d'architecture, de conception detaillee et de verification sur des systemes complexes contenant des circuits electriques et electroniques
  • Travailler en etroite collaboration avec des equipes interfonctionnelles de specialistes de la gestion de l'offre, de l'industrialisation, des FPGA, de micrologiciels, de logiciels, de circuits imprimes et de conception mecanique pour produire des conceptions de haute qualite
  • Concevoir des circuits electroniques conformes aux normes de compatibilite electromagnetique (CEM)
  • Participer a la conception de circuits imprimes analogiques et numeriques en tenant compte des contraintes thermiques et de l'integrite du signal
  • Superviser le travail des techniciens et assembleurs lorsque requis
  • Participer et faciliter les revues de conception de circuits imprimes et de produits complets
  • Produire et controler la documentation de production des cartes electroniques
  • Rediger des rapports techniques

  • Perform requirements analysis, architecture, detailed design and verification tasks on complex systems containing electrical and electronic circuits
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams of offer Management, Industrialization, FPGA, Firmware, Software, PCB and Mechanical design specialists to produce high-quality designs
  • Design electronic circuits that comply with electro-magnetic compatibility (EMC) standards
  • Participate in the design of analog and digital printed circuits considering thermal constraints and signal integrity
  • Supervise the work of technicians and assemblers when required
  • Participate and facilitate design reviews of printed circuits and complete products
  • Produce and control electronic card production documentation
  • Write technical reports
  • Participate and support quality problem solving exercises
  • Contribute to the research and development of new technologies for electronic products

  • Baccalaureat en genie electrique, electronique ou equivalent
  • 5 ans d'experience eprouvee dans la conception et la validation de circuits integres
  • Experience avec les outils de conception modernes (OrCAD/Allegro, Altium, Xpedition)
  • Experience avec les microcontroleurs embarques et la conception de systemes de controle electronique.
  • Capacite a deriver des elements de conception a partir de normes et de specifications materielles telles que PCIe, SerDes, IEEE 1588, etc.
  • Experience avec la conception d'empilement de PCB
  • Experience avec la gestion des contraintes et la coordination des activites de layout PCB
  • Experience avec Matlab, Spice
  • Capacite a utiliser des equipements de laboratoire communs (Scopes, VSA, Spectrum Analyzer)
  • Capable d'exercer, de depanner et de retravailler l'electronique en laboratoire.

  • 5 years proven experience in embedded circuitry design and validation

  • Ability to derive design elements from standards and hardware specifications such as PCIe, SerDes, IEEE 1588, etc.

  • Ability to use common lab equipment (Scopes, VSA, Spectrum Analyzer)
  • Able to exercise, troubleshoot and rework electronics in the lab.
  • Ability to review customer or marketing SOWs and PRDs
  • Ability to write detailed design documents
  • The successful candidate must be able to obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods program (CGP), which requires Canadian Citizen or valid PR holder status.
