Knowledge Manager

Full Time Technical Bremerton, WA, US

Salary Range: $74,000.00 To $84,000.00 Annually

Primary Functions: Provide on-site/off-site knowledge management support to the CT1 Community Leaders (e.g., KSN Process Masters, KMSO, CT1 PD, Focal Points) in the planning and execution of all aspects of the knowledge management process, as well as assist in the planning and facilitation of knowledge management events.

Provide support for events/meetings:

  • Knowledge Management Community of Practice (KMCoP) Face to Face meeting
  • Three Leadership Group (3LG) Face to Face meeting
  • CT1 Annual Community Event
  • Availability Hot Washes, KSN Meetings, and CVN Retrospect’s

Provide staff support to the CT1 program and Carrier Project Teams.

Position Requirements:

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in business management discipline or technical management and 3 years professional experience directly involved in the planning and execution of CVN availabilities from a public or private shipyard’s perspective.

Associate’s degree business management discipline or technical management and 5 years professional experience directly involved in the planning and execution of CVN availabilities from a public or private shipyard’s perspective.

–OR -

5 years professional experience in Knowledge Management and 7 years professional experience directly involved in the planning and execution of CVN availabilities from a public or private shipyard’s perspective.

  • Required Skills and/or Experience : 3 years professional experience directly involved in the planning and execution of CVN availabilities from a public or private shipyard’s perspective and a Bachelor's degree in business management discipline or technical management.

–OR -

5 years professional experience directly involved in the planning and execution of CVN availabilities from a public or private shipyard’s perspective and an Associate’s degree business management discipline or technical management,

-OR -

5 years professional experience in Knowledge Management and 7 years professional experience directly involved in the planning and execution of CVN availabilities from a public or private shipyard’s perspective.

  • Certifications : NONE

Additional requirements:

  • SECURITY CLEARANCE : Employee is required to provide eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET security clearance.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship required due to technical content of work.
  • Satisfactory criminal/traffic/credit background check required for entry to NNS shipyard.

Notes:

Under this task, travel is required, up to 12 trips per year (i.e. Attend Semi-annual 3LG and Annual Community meeting, KMCoP face to face, KSN Face to faces, Hot Washes, etc.).

Due to the nature of the work specified by the contract, this position requires regular and recurring deckplate presence at the Government site.
