Job Overview

We are seeking a highly driven Business Analyst with strong expertise in ServiceNow and IT Asset Management (ITAM). This role focuses on optimizing ITAM processes, ensuring asset data accuracy, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives. Ideal for someone who excels at requirement gathering, documentation, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow & ITAM Operations

  • Administer and improve ServiceNow ITAM modules: HAM, SAM, CMDB.
  • Maintain asset data integrity through strong governance and validation practices.
  • Collaborate with IT Operations and Procurement on entire asset lifecycle processes.
  • Design workflows, dashboards, and reports for automation, compliance, and visibility.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with procurement, discovery, and inventory systems.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow/ITAM initiatives.
  • Conduct gap analyses and recommend improvements in processes and systems.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for development teams.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, UAT sessions, and change-management efforts.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, SOPs, process flows, and configuration documentation.
  • Use ServiceNow analytics to deliver insights into asset compliance, usage, and lifecycle.
  • Track KPIs and SLAs to identify performance issues and cost-optimization opportunities.

Execution & Collaboration

  • Drive initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision.
  • Work closely with IT, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure alignment.
  • Identify and resolve risks, issues, and data integrity challenges proactively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-8 years of Business Analyst experience, including 2+ years with ServiceNow.
  • Strong background in IT Asset Management and CMDB maintenance.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITAM, MS Intune, and related tools.
  • Strong requirement gathering, documentation, and process-mapping skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
