ServiceMaster Restore® - Disaster Restoration Services
At ServiceMaster Restore, we specialize in restoring residential and commercial properties after water, fire, and smoke damage. As a nationally recognized restoration brand, we combine industry-leading standards with responsive, local service. We are hiring a skilled Lead Restoration Technician / Mitigation Crew Lead to manage field operations, guide technicians, and ensure restoration projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with IICRC standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes ownership of jobsite performance, crew development, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
  • Lead water damage restoration, fire and smoke mitigation, and structural drying projects
  • Supervise technicians and subcontractors on residential and commercial job sites
  • Perform moisture inspections, moisture mapping, and job condition assessments
  • Set up and manage drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers)
  • Oversee containment, demolition, debris removal, and cleaning operations
  • Enforce PPE usage, safety compliance, and contamination control protocols
  • Ensure work aligns with IICRC S500 and S700 standards
  • Maintain accurate job documentation including moisture readings, equipment logs, photos, and daily notes
  • Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and internal team members
  • Coach, mentor, and develop restoration technicians

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in restoration, mitigation, disaster recovery, or construction
  • Prior crew lead, foreman, or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of water mitigation, drying principles, and fire damage cleanup
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work and respond to emergency service calls

Preferred Qualifications
  • IICRC WRT and FSRT certifications required; ASD or advanced certifications preferred
  • Experience working on insurance-driven restoration projects
  • Familiarity with restoration job management and documentation software
