  • Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is desirable but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Description

The Janitorial Staff will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities,

ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers. The ideal candidate will

have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional

service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in all areas of the facility, such as offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
  • Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials from designated areas, ensuring that waste is properly sorted and disposed of according to company policies and environmental regulations.
  • Restocking Supplies: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and restroom amenities and replenish as needed. Notify supervisor of any shortages or maintenance issues requiring attention.
  • Floor Care: Operate floor cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners, to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors. Perform spot cleaning and stain removal as necessary.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Assist with specialized cleaning tasks as directed, such as post-construction cleanup, emergency water extraction, and mold remediation, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the safe handling of cleaning chemicals. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain janitorial equipment and tools in good working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor for repair or replacement.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other janitorial staff members and restoration technicians to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate tasks and prioritize work assignments.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, visitors, and coworkers. Respond promptly to any customer requests or concerns and escalate issues to the supervisor as needed.
