SRM is the large-scale commercial catastrophic disaster restoration unit of ServiceMaster Restore.

As a technician with ServiceMaster Restore®, you will learn a wide variety of transferrable skills related to maintenance, construction, leadership, and customer service. Specific job responsibilities include:
  • Retrieves work orders/assignments, checks route for travel, ensures appropriate equipment and supplies needed for a job are loaded on truck needed for job, and arrives at the work site
  • Performs water/mold/bio (trauma) remediation as directed according to company procedures including but not limited to extraction, debris removal/disposition, demolition and cleaning
  • Sets up remediation equipment on site per plans
  • Reports equipment malfunctions
  • Notifies project manager of customer or project issues as they arise
  • Maintains time sheet records
  • Conducts work assignment in quality manner
  • Maintains personal safety with PPE provided

PAID TRAINING
All employees are trained on how to safely lift and move more than 75 pounds and perform the tasks essential to safely and efficiently repairing customers' homes after a disasterIf you do not currently have a commercial driver's license, you will be trained to drive a commercial vehicle and will be supported in getting your Class E license.
  • Opportunities for additional pay include:
    • On-call bonuses
    • Project-related bonuses (e.g., PPE required, time of day, location, etc.)
    • Hourly rate increases to 1.5x for overtime
    • ServiceMaster invests $5,000 in required certification for each new hire (Water Damage Restoration Technician certification)

HOURS
Full-time and part-time schedules available. Mandatory overnight on-call shift once per month (compensated, including travel time)
Compensation: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
