About Service Master:
Service Master by ASG is a local franchise company that provides relief for residential or commercial properties that have suffered water, fire and mold damage.
Summary of the Position:
We currently have an opportunity for a Lead Water Restoration Technician (Crew Chief) to join our team. As a Lead Water Restoration Technician (Crew Chief), you will be responsible for supervising, coaching, and training a team of technicians on all internal procedures, ensuring all business protocols are adhered to. You will play an active role in producing a high-quality work product on properties in relation to all clean up and restoration efforts.
Essentials Job Functions:
  • Ensure that the proper inventory and equipment, such as products and supplies needed for each project, are loaded in the work vehicle
  • Set up, implement, and monitor all required equipment
  • Adhere to and enforce company standards in setting up reliable containment, removing and packing of all recoverable materials, cleaning up any debris and perform any other mitigation and remediation efforts
  • Adopt and maintain our clean method
  • Perform production processes, demolition and other labor-intensive tasks while providing supervision and quality control over all technicians
  • Provide coaching and training to all technician level team members while on the job, escalate any repetitive issues to management
  • Provide upkeep on all vehicles and equipment appearance
  • Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown
  • Photograph and document daily tasks using our internal systems
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Skills:
  • 1 year of restoration industry experience (water, fire, and mold) is preferred
  • IICRC accreditations for fire & smoke, water damage, and microbial remediation is preferred
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and written
  • Ability to work with people in a professional manner
  • Maintains a valid and current driver's license
  • Availability for travel in response to out of town projects and/or catastrophic events
