Job description

SERVICE TECH - SERVICE TECHNICIAN HOURLY
Since forming in 2007, TAG Truck Center has built an excellent reputation within the heavy truck industry. Much of the company’s success can be attributed to our employees who share a common vision “A hassle free, value added transaction for every customer every time.”

An opportunity for a Service Technician currently exists in our Jackson, Missouri dealership.  The focus of this position will be to perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with company and manufacturer standards.  Detroit, Cummins, and/or ASE Heavy Duty certifications preferred with a minimum of three years truck dealership experience required. 

We are looking for a technician who will be a dependable, responsible team player with the right skill set and a positive attitude. People who are passionate about providing the highest level of customer service will surround you everyday. 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Cummins, Detroit Diesel and/or Heavy-Duty certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years truck dealership experience
  • Freightliner experience helpful but not required
  • Flat rate/commission experience preferred
  • CDL preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Own necessary basic tools
