Job description

Green Cubes Technology is a Lithium-Ion battery manufacturer in a rapidly growing industry located in Kokomo, IN. Green Cubes operates in a new and expanding industry. Our goal is to accelerate and facilitate the transition from inefficient lead acid power storage systems to Lithium-Ion power storage systems. We believe in designing and producing a cleaner and safer alternative to lead acid power storage systems.

The Regional Service Technician plays a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction of our motive power battery systems. This hands-on position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in the field while providing exceptional technical support to customers and dealers. The role involves frequent travel, detailed documentation of service activities, and close collaboration with internal teams to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement. The Regional Service Technician serves as the company’s front-line technical representative, maintaining strong relationships, upholding safety standards, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to quality and innovation.

The Regional Service Technician will:

  • Troubleshoot and repair field issues and returned materials.
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and help conduct root cause analysis of field issues.
  • Manage equipment needed to support the service and warranty of the motive power batteries.
  • Track and document all field related issues (i.e., trip reports, call log).
  • Adhere to all safety rules and maintain quality housekeeping in work area.
  • Manage all required on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
  • Work with dealers via phone and email to mitigate field issues including weekends on call.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and dealers, represent the company positively in all interactions.
  • Determine customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations when necessary.
  • Provide feedback on field issues to product development to continually focus on improving quality.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when necessary, on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Follow all company procedures and protocols.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Ability and willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.
  • Technical degree or certification preferred; equivalent field service experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
  • Experience with failure analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Background in product manufacturing and production operations.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
