Operations Support Technician – Tree Care

TreeMasters is seeking a motivated and reliable Operations Support Technician to join our growing team. This role bridges the gap between our office and field operations, helping ensure our crews have the resources, preparation, and support needed to complete projects safely and efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with tree care experience who enjoys working both in the field and with operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and manage No Parking signs and jobsite preparation ahead of scheduled work.
  • Submit and manage 811 utility locate requests and assist with dig site markings.
  • Provide operational support to tree crews, including delivering materials and equipment between job sites.
  • Assist with tree crew operations when needed.
  • Conduct basic safety checks and jobsite audits to ensure compliance with company safety standards.
  • Support field operations by helping ensure crews are properly staged and prepared for upcoming work.

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of tree care industry experience preferred (climbing or ground experience helpful).
  • Comfortable working both in the field and with basic administrative/computer tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with both office staff and field crews.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Willingness to assist with tree work when needed.

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience operating stump grinders
  • Experience with tree planting
  • Familiarity with utility locating / 811 processes
  • ISA certification or pursuing certification
