Job description

 Covenant Roofing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Roof Repair Technician to join our Service and Repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems. As a Roof Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the longevity and safety of our clients' roofs by delivering high-quality repair services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and Diagnose Roof Issues: Perform thorough inspections to identify leaks, damaged shingles, flashing issues, and other roofing problems.
  • Execute Repairs: Repair a variety of roofing systems, including shingle, metal, tile, and flat roofs. This includes replacing shingles, repairing leaks, and addressing any structural issues.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, explaining the scope of repairs needed and answering any questions they may have.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, including materials used, time spent on repairs, and any additional observations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs meet company standards and client expectations by performing final inspections and addressing any remaining issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Service and Repair Department Manager and other team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in roof repair, with a strong understanding of various roofing systems.
  • Skills: Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for roof repair. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights and walk a sloped roof unassisted without any issues, lift 50lbs overhead unassisted, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Must be able to climb a ladder unassisted.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
